SHIFT credits

1. Who sells credits

   Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle sells the credits to you, issues your receipt, collects VAT and handles payment questions. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply to the purchase.

2. What credits are

   Credits are a prepaid balance in euros that pays for AI work in SHIFT where you have no API key of your own for that kind of work. Your own keys are always used first. Credits are not money: they earn no interest, cannot be moved to another account, and are paid back only as described below.

3. Price and VAT

   You choose an amount from €10.00 to €500.00. Before checkout the Wallet shows the credits, a 7% service fee and the payment processing fee. VAT is added on top at checkout, at your country's rate, and shown on your receipt. Each request is then charged at what the provider charges SHIFT for it, converted from US dollars to euros; there is no further markup on usage.

4. Daily limit

   Credits stop for the day once your daily limit is spent: €5.00 unless you change it in Wallet, anywhere from €1.00 to €100.00.

5. Validity

   Credits stay valid for at least 12 months after purchase.

6. Withdrawal within 14 days

   If you have not used any credits from a purchase, you can withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason and get the full price back, fees and VAT included. Under the Paddle Buyer Terms this right ends once you start using the credits, if you agreed at checkout that they become available at once; the refund of unused credits below still applies.

7. Refund of unused credits

   Unused credits are refundable on request at any time while they are valid: write to shift.labs.hq@gmail.com from the email address of your SHIFT account. The refund goes back through Paddle to the payment method you used: the unused credits plus the VAT charged on them. The service fee and the payment processing fee paid for the purchase itself are not refunded after the 14 days. While a refund is under way, credits are paused on your account.

8. Deleting your account

   When you delete your account, your unused credits are paid back the same way before the account is removed. Amounts under one cent cannot be refunded.
